MCS150/ Biennial Update
Your USDOT number is required to be updated every two years, or when you have a change in business operations (change in number of drivers, change in number of trucks, moving from interstate to intrastate carrier or vice versa, or change in the type of product transported)
Your routine biennial update is required to be updated every two years regardless of any changes in business, for each intrastate and interstate carriers. The month that this filing must be completed in is determined by your USDOT Number, the 2nd to last digit being even numbered calls out even numbered years, the 2nd to last digit being odd calls out odd numbered years. The last digit calls out the month;
1= January
2= February
3= March
4= April
5= May
6= June
7= July
8= August
9 September
0= October
If you are unsure if your USDOT Number needs to be updated at this time visit the MCS150 USDOT Update page and complete the USDOT Status Form, Johnson DOT Services will then advise whether you need to file an update at this time.
