A Designation of Process Agent filing is a federal filing that assigns a process agent to accept legal documents on behalf of the carrier/broker in each state the company is authorized to do business in. The filing is required to be completed prior to your Federal Operating Authority/ MC Number being made active. An approved processing agent MUST be used to complete this filing.
